The Kansas Health Foundation directs its efforts to four program areas – policy, public health, leadership and children’s health – strategically chosen for their potential over the long term to improve the health of all Kansans. In policy, our efforts help ensure that leaders and policymakers have accurate and accessible information to make informed decisions on key health issues. In public health, our work helps people understand the direct connection between poor health habits and disease. In leadership, we nurture individuals who can in turn engage others, mobilize communities and transform organizations. In children’s health, we endeavor to create an environment that puts children first so they can grow up to be healthy, contributing adults.
