Carter joins Foundation board of directors
WICHITA, KAN.--Mollie H. Carter of Salina has joined the Kansas Health Foundation Board of Directors. Carter is CEO and President of Sunflower Bank, a Salina-based bank with 25 locations across Kansas and additional locations in Colorado and Missouri.
“We are pleased to welcome Mollie Carter to our board of directors,” said Steve Coen, Kansas Health Foundation President and CEO. “Her business experience, as well as her commitment to her community and the state of Kansas, will make her a tremendous asset as the board continues to provide leadership, guidance and oversight of the Foundation’s work.”
Carter’s extensive business record also includes currently serving as vice president of Star A, Inc., a farming and ranching operation based in Manhattan, Kan., and previously working as senior investment officer at John Hancock Financial. She currently serves on the board of directors for Archer Daniels Midland and Westar Energy. She is also active in her community, serving on the board of directors for the Greater Salina Community Foundation.
