Recognition Grant Conference

Every year, the Kansas Health Foundation invites recognition grant recipients to attend a conference designed just for them. Not only is it a time of celebration and acknowledgment of their efforts, it also provides an opportunity to help connect awardees with helpful information and resources.

The 2012 conference, to be held April 3 and 4, at the Hyatt Regency, will feature skill-building workshops on strategic communication, volunteer management, leadership, fund raising, donor development and board development. Past keynote speakers have included Heather Grant, co-author of Forces For Good: Practices of High-Impact Nonprofits, and Bill Grace, Ph.D., founder and executive emeritus of the Center for Ethical Leadership.

It’s just another way we say thank you for the job our recognition grant recipients are doing. Their efforts today are helping ensure a brighter, healthier tomorrow for their fellow Kansans.
