Recognition Grant Conference
Every year, the Kansas Health Foundation invites recognition grant recipients and applicants to attend a conference designed just for them. Not only is it a time of celebration and acknowledgment of their efforts, it also provides an opportunity to help connect awardees with helpful information and resources.
The 2013 conference was held in April at the Hyatt Regency and featured feature skill-building workshops on strategic communication, volunteer management, leadership, fund raising, donor development and board development. Noted author and speaker Allison Fine was this year's keynote speaker. Past keynote speakers have included Heather Grant, co-author of Forces For Good: Practices of High-Impact Nonprofits, and Bill Grace, Ph.D., founder and executive emeritus of the Center for Ethical Leadership.
It’s just another way we say thank you for the job our recognition grant recipients and applicants are doing. Their efforts today are helping ensure a brighter, healthier tomorrow for their fellow Kansans.
