KHF Health Issues

The Kansas Health Foundation is a private philanthropy dedicated to improving the health of all Kansans.

Applying for a Recognition Grant from the Kansas Health Foundation just got easier, which is good because the due date for nonprofit organizations to apply for Fall 2009 funding is right around the corner.

All applications must be complete and received by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15.

Instead of downloading a grant application, filling it out by hand and sending it through the mail, you just need to follow our simple new electronic grant application form using the link on our home page at www.kansashealth.org. Once your application is completed, you will get an immediate notification that your application has been received for consideration.

Please do not submit previous printed versions of our application form. We strongly encourage all applicants to read the section "New Application Process" on the Recognition Grants page of our Web site before applying.

Recognition Grants are grants of up to $25,000 per organization. Using a competitive process, the Foundation will award as much as $2 million annually to Recognition Grant projects. Any tax-exempt, nonprofit organization using the funds for charitable purposes and proposing an innovative project that supports the Foundation’s mission of improving the health of all Kansans is eligible. If you have questions or problems with the application, please call us at (316) 262-7676 or (800) 373-7681 or send an e-mail to rginfo@khf.org.
