![]() ![]() The Master of Public Health (MPH) program at the University of Kansas was started in 1994 with Foundation funding, and today is a graduate-level degree program offered through the Department of Preventative Medicine and Public Health at the KU Medical Center in Kansas City and the School of Medicine in Wichita. In continued support of the MPH program, this most recent funding will allow KU to develop and implement a minimum of three areas of concentration. Developing these concentrations will strengthen the overall program by adding greater emphasis to the essential components of basic public health practice, planning and regulation of health threats. They will also provide additional education experiences to public health graduates and allow the KU MPH program to remain one of the nation’s best. |
